Ms. H. voluntarily returned to her home country Somalia in May 2017. She was granted financial support for the set up of a corner shop and additional support for her sick child. Thanks to the reintegration assistance she can now earn a living for herself and her daughter: "As a woman, such types of projects keep us competitive with the rest and ensure that we earn our living for our family."

Mr. A. voluntarily returned to his home country Somalia in fall 2017. Thanks to the reintegration assistance, Mr. A. was able to set up a shop where he sells food and non-food daily articles. He earns an average of USD 400 per month with his business and plans to intensify his marketing efforts.


This man returned voluntarily to Somalia in 2018. Thanks to the reintegration assistance he was able to purchase a tractor.
